Pre-Sales Consultant for Accounting Software



Pre-Sales Consultant required for this progressive and forward thinking software and services company who develop, sell and support their own sophisticated financial and business management software - based out of Peterborough. Their products are developed using the latest technologies and are sold to SME's throughout the UK and Europe. They have a niche market in the charity, education and finance sectors and pride themselves on their excellent client relationships and prestigious awards.



This is a key role within the company - you will be responsible for demonstrating software and providing pre-sales support with regards to the company's accounting software and related products.



The role:

* Providing pre-sales support to the sales team, assisting with proposals, tenders and presentations

* Developing and maintaining software demonstrations and presentations

* Pro-actively suggesting improvements to the Pre-Sales activity, especially proposals and demo's



Previous experience of accounting software such as Sage 200, Sage MMS, SAP Business One, Dynamics GP, Exchequer, Coda, Agresso, Access Accounts, OpenAccounts, Pegasus Opera, AccPac or SunSystems is essential, together with sound knowledge of accounting principles - ideally with a formal qualification such as AAT or CIMA. You should be technically competent with Microsoft Office products and will ideally have previous experience of implementation and/or software demonstration. You will have an outgoing, confident personality with the ability to cope under pressure, and should be highly articulate. The role will involve travel, so a driving license is essential.
