Support Consultant for Accounting Software



Great role for a Support Consultant to look after Sage 200 accounting software queries and technical support issues for this highly respected software consultancy based in Peterborough. You will need to have great interpersonal skills, knowledge of accounting software support and ideally a recognised accounting or bookkeeping qualification (but not essential).



This is a hugely successful company specialising in ERP, accounting and CRM software particularly Sage 200, SalesLogix, Goldmine CRM and Dynamics CRM. Reporting to the Financials Support manager, you will be joining a small team dealing with software support issues via telephone, email and remote support software (Desktop / Go To Assist) from 9.00 to 5.30. You will log and progress your support calls and provide a solution within the SLA (Service level Agreement), or escalate your calls to the software manufacturer or to management.



Candidates should have good general experience of Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word and Excel with excellent telephone communication skills. You will have knowledge of accounting software such as Sage, Pegasus Opera, Iris Exchequer, PS Financials, Coda, OpenAccounts (COA), Dynamics NAV, Dynamics GP, SAP Business One, Access Dimensions, SunAccounts or similar - or you will have an IT support background together with a previous accounting qualification such as AAT.
