Account Manager - IT Software



We are looking for a resourceful and talented Account Manager with a background in software, hardware, IT solutions, technology, telecoms or a similar industry, to join this fabulous Peterborough based IT consultancy. This company is a real success story, they have over 20 years IT software and technical solutions industry experience behind them; they have a superb marketing team and are a leading accounting, ERP and CRM software supplier. Your base salary will be around the £22k mark, but you will get excellent commission of 5% on gross profit plus bonuses; the current job holder is earning £55k, so earning potential is substantial.



As an Account Manager here, you will be dealing with a very large base of existing clients in the accounting and CRM software arena. This will be a busy role involving quotations, up selling existing clients to new software or hardware products, order taking, dealing with new prospects and handling client problems effectively and efficiently. They are looking for someone with a proven background in Account Management within the IT space - either software or hardware or networking, or any other technical area such as telecoms or similar. You should have excellent telephone and customer service skills, and be driven by reward and success.
